With increasing global concerns over greenhouse gas emissions and the future supply of food and energy products, there is an urgent need to develop new technologies that expand provision of renewable energy and increase food production. Sweet sorghum is receiving significant global interest because of its capacity to co-produce energy, food, and feed products in integrated biorefineries.
